This is the first part of our LIVE WEATHER BRIEFING which you will receive several times a day as a member. Our membership fees start out at $9.95 per month. For that, you have access to our live forecast center via Adobe Connect (you need no software and Adobe does not apply any code to your computer). Our almost continuous weather station gives you full participation with VOIP, (voice interaction), screen access to apply your maps and thoughts on the given briefing, access to the maps the moderator has presented (you can draw right on their maps!). And, if you want to appear on screen while you are delivering your input, we will give you the option to do that. You are truly a part of the briefing and often help us change our minds about very significant events as we get input from you. After all, you understand your local region and you can offer us your take on the forecast each day.
During severe weather, depending on your setting, we alert you to any risk early in the morning for the whole of North America and during the day. As we refine our specific exclusive severe weather forecasts we alert you by email, your cell phone, iPad and computer that a live interactive update is about to be broadcast. We are one of a kind. During Hurricane Season, we have open channel operations where we are live often during the hour. We have our live WeatherCenter cam on and break in as information pops up. In addition, we have updates at least every 3 hours and more frequently as tropical weather approaches costal sections of the Islands and North America.
We're excited to bring you the first real-time weather forecasts for tropical weather, winter storms, meso-scale weather, severe thunderstorm and tornado situations. Major weather services, such as the National Weather Service, have private briefings every morning. At Weather Briefings, you are invited to our forecast briefings throughout the day via the web.
Forecast Briefings: Most briefings occur at regularly scheduled times. When sensitive weather conditions dictate, we alert you at least 15 minutes before extra briefings. The briefings include the forecaster in charge plus other weather professionals. If you are the lone meteorologist at your TV station, a small weather service forecaster, or even a weather enthusiast, we guarantee the most interesting and wide variety of voices and graphics.
